I am about 99% sure I have a urinary tract infection. I bought some cranberry juice and some AZO pills. Does anyone know anything about these? I don't have any health coverage yet so I don't have a doctor, but these pills say to ask a health professional before use if pregnant. Does anyone know if I can take these or if there is something else I can do to get rid of my UTI?
hey girl! I get them all the time. cranberry juice is more of a preventative doesn't really help. everyone is different but this is what helps me; constantly drink water, i mean don't stop, go to the bathroom as much as possible. keep yourself very clean down there wear very comfortable clothing. normally if i do all of this it take less than 24 hours to get rid of.
ReplyDeletejust a little help, hope it works. if you need anything let me know
Hi Kari, I'm just catching up on your blog. Lonnie and I are so excited about the new baby.
ReplyDeleteI am very prone to UTIs, so much that at one point I was on meds to prevent them. I've never been able to cure them with anything but antibiotics. AZO is really to make your symptoms better until your antibiotics can fully kick in. Definetly drink lots of H2O and juice but if your not feeling better soon go get checked out so you don't get a kidney infection which is much worse.
Let us know if you guys need anything and tell Tyler his Uncle Lonnie says "Hey!"
Hugs to you both,
Trish
